I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of

the Admiralty to request that you will inform Mr Secretary Harcourt that they are desirous of utilising the services of Commander Basil R. H. Taylour, R.N., (Emergency List), in the Royal Navy.

2. It is understood that Comander Taylour is now serving as Harbour Master at Hong Kong, and having regard to the present situation in the East, My Lords would be glad to be informed whether Mr Secretary Harcourt has any objection to their calling him out for service.
